A: Some trustees do not wish to manage any of the financial responsibilities of billing, collection, or even paying the monthly bills. These trustees only want to ensure that the job is being handled properly. We will bill your homeowners, collect the revenues, receive and pay your bills and send you statements so that you can verify accuracy.

Q: Can our homeowners get their assessment bills and newsletters emailed directly to them?
A: Assessments and Newsletters will be billed through the U.S. Postal Service. Of course, future upgrades are always possible.

Q: What can you do if some of our homeowners are delinquent on their dues?
A: Standard practice dictates that a late notice will be sent. After that, we can file a lien on the property of the delinquent account, with proper authorization from the trustees.

Q: Does SOS have any responsibility for problems with an SOS referred contractor?
A: We will investigate our referral companies to the best of our ability, to include, when possible, the gathering of references, calls to the Better Business Bureau, and length of service. However, SOS acts in this capacity only as a consultant and does not bear any responsibility for transactions between your subdivision and a referred contractor.
